Active outdoorsman, he loved hunting and fishing. After
retiring in 2001 from 33 years of teaching at

, he worked at Pell’s Bait and Tackle where he then taught
people to fish. He was also a member of N.J. Waterfowlers
Assoc., Ducks Unlimited, Central Jersey Rifle and Pistol and The
Special Olympics.
